Hey @Google

I have always thought you're famous for your crazy and secret-like-the-original-coke-recipe algorithms (read paragraph 6). They made you become a global player and a whole business-branch (SEO) emerged just to pick the lock. At this point I am proud to announce that i brought home the bacon and identified one of your newer ones: You have overhauled your design and implemented an all-your-services-wide Navigation Bar that follows the equation

(achievement)reached = (awesome)/2

By just looking through some blogs and addons or Greasemonkey-Scripts you'll get the point that some obvious features are missing.
  1. Display the numbers of unread mails, feeds, etc. next to the corresponding service.
  2. Why does every service launch in a new tab? Just let me switch from here to there while staying in one tab.
Some people do even spend their time coding addons and scripts (with nonsatisfying results so they start using addons and scripts for addons and scripts) just to enable basic requirements.

Maybe you have a good reason for your decision, but i don't get it. Well, however... i don't have your budget for Research and Development to engineer a new user interface, but i use your interface and it startet to disappoint me in under ten minutes.

If at all you were reading my complaints, feel free to read some more:
  1. Have you heard of the +1 Button? Why don't you integrate it in the Google Reader? (Which use has the existing like button anyway?)
  2. Find and use a babelfish to fix this grammatical error.
  3. You've got approximately drölf Twitter Accounts and not a single one for feedback? (Yes, i'm aware of your Feedback-System)
For the time being, with kind regards.

Meat & Potatoes

Got hungry?

Be warned: This blog ain't about food (at least basically), it's about [post usual motivations of blogging here].
Some topics will handle the same topics every blogger blogs in his blog, some deal with my two cents and sometimes schreibe ich auch auf Deutsch.
Consider me - that's the blog - as a compedium of things that concern me - that's me.

Let's all find out how this will end.
